Big Band Radio Romania

In the last 12 years, I have released six albums dedicated to large ensemble music, spanning the spectrum between big band and orchestra. It is now both an honor and a great pleasure to present my big band music for the first time with the amazing Radio Romania Big Band.

In the repertoire, we find pieces from his last two big band albums, released in 2016 and 2019, which pay homage to different cities around the world that have been significant to me. Alongside these classics, the repertoire includes new pieces premiered for the first time in Brazil in 2023, exploring Brazilian rhythms such as partido alto and samba.

What makes this concert truly special is the world premiere of two pieces: "The Last Tango," influenced by Argentine music, and "Now," a piece that invites the audience to participate in the performance by using their mobile phones to record the live performance. These recordings will be edited afterward to create a live video of the performance, made by the actual audience!
